SM City Cebu Foodcourt BLOGGERS EVENT “Asia-in-a-Basket”

I’m back to blogging again. It took me so long to blog about this event. The Cebu Bloggers Society was invited to the Bloggers Event “Asia-in-a-Basket” at SM City Cebu Foodcourt last Noveber 30, 2009. I was late to arrive on the event due to some errands. Anyhow, I was there. When I arrived, I can see my fellow bloggers on their seats with their laptops on and other gadgets on the loose. First thing I noticed was the buffet table with the different kinds of dishes on display.

The 2009 Philippine Blog Awards Night in Visayas Region

As in all things in the Philippine Blog Awards started with an idea- To recognize the best in the Filipino Blogging Community. The idea became a project and the project became what was to be known as The Philippine Blog Awards. It was conceptualized by three bloggers- Abe Olandres, Jayvee Fernandez and Gail Villanueva. The aim was to recognize notable Filipino-owned blogs. With the help of the significant support of the volunteers, members of the Philippine Blogging Community and the sponsors, the awards came to be.

The 3rd Philippine Blog Awards was held last October 18, 2009 in Ayala City Sports, Cebu City at 6:00 PM. Aside from new categories the theme for the 2009 Philippine Blog Awards: One Blogging Nation. (more…)

PBA 2009 Bloggers’ Choice Special Award (Visayas)

Tomorrow October 14, 2009 at 10:30 in the evening is the deadline for the submission of entries in order to vote for the PBA 2009 Bloggers’ Choice Award (Visayas), yet I am still making this entry today. It is not too late. I can still cast my vote.

I am voting for the Cebu Bloggers Society’s mother site-www.cebubloggers.com. I’ve been in the organization for 8 months now, and with that span of time, I experienced a lot of good things. I can truly say that I am very proud to be part of the Cebu Bloggers Society. Along with its members, we’ve become more than just a group but a family. The CBS blog represents all of us. Philippine Blog Awards 2009: Visayas Region
