PLDT myDSL Watchpad goes Live and Loud in Cebu

PLDT myDSL WatchPad will officially launch its groundbreaking partnership with local cable channel Real Cebu Television (RCTV) on Sunday, March 28, 2010, 1 p.m. at the Parkmall Grounds. Dubbed LIVE and LOUD, this free event is a celebration of Cebu talent, local culture, technological convergence and the new age of cable and internet television.

Live and Loud will feature a school band competition to be participated by bands from Cebu Doctor’s University, University of the Philippines Cebu College, Cebu Institute of Technology, University of Cebu, University of Southern Philippines, Southwestern University and the University of San Jose Recoletos; with performances from Tambayan – one of RCTV shows– bands and Cebu’s pride: Cuarenta, Bethany, Pandora, Missing Filemon, Juress, Uno, Lui and the Line Divides which will all be streamed live on http://www.PldtWatchpad.com. Cattski at TEN Concert

I have been a Cattski fan ever since my friend Clarence introduced me to her songs. I also was able to sing one of her songs in a debut entitled ‘A Mental Picture of You’. Another song of hers which melted my heart was the song called ‘Hero’.

I believe Cattski Espina is a great singer and at the same time composer. I’ve been inspired to each lyrics of her songs. I only saw her perform live once in Ayala Terraces some time last December and it made me admire her more.

Come and join us in celebrating TEN Years of Cattski to be held at The Outpost on March 20, 2010 Saturday at 8PM. This also includes her Album Launching and Live Recording.

NESCAFÉ 3in1 Soundskool 2009 (Visayas) features 6 Cycle Mind and Letter Day Story

After a week of having trouble with my internet connection and having busy doing school works, here I am again. It feels great to be back and blog again! Hurray to me!

Last October 10, 2009 was the NESCAFÉ 3in1 Soundskool 2009 Eliminations (Visayas) held in Parkmall, Mandaue City, Cebu. I had the chance to be with my CBS family again. I totally missed them like I haven’t seen them for ages.  The Cebu Bloggers Society (CBS) was given this opportunity to be the media partner of the event, so we came as the Press media. Pretty cool huh? Well as for me, I went there only to have the orientation to our new CBS members because I was still supposed to attend a birthday party but eventually the night was getting older and I felt like I can’t leave the occasion so I just better stay to where I was seated (with the crowd facing the stage with the different college bands performing). Who is Raleene Cabrera?

Just tonight, my cousin gushed about her new blog post so I payed  a visit to her blog. As I went through her latest post, I can see pictures of a gorgeous young lady by the name of Raleene Cabrera.  I tried to ask some of my Cebuano friends if they knew this girl but they said they don’t. Well at first sight, I thought she’s just an ordinary model, but wait til’ you read the rest of my post.

This girl right here happens to be a true-blue Cebuana. Can you guess how old she is? She’s only 19. According to my sources, she is an interior design student, a freelance photographer, a singer, and a roamer. That is according to her. She also didn’t mention that she’s a model. As you can see from the photo right here, you can really say that she’s a model cause it shows with that pretty face, gorgeous eyes, long nose, lucious lips, and black hair. Wow. She’s beautiful and humble. But that’s not just what she’s all about. There’s more.

Who is she really? A goddess? An angel? A princess? A celebrity?

Try harder. You’ll figure it out sooner. Even I was amazed when I knew what and who she was.
